Cilj ovog predmeta je osposobljavanje studenata za praktičnu primjenu savremenih integrisanih CAD/CAM/CAE sistema.
Istorijska perspektiva CAD-a – Istorija CAD-a. Uloga računara u budućnosti; Konstruisanje i CAD – Uvod. Konvencionalni pristup konstruisanja. Opis procesa konstruisanja. Konstruisanje podržano računarima. Parametarsko i varijaciono konstruisanje. Inženjerske analize i CAD. Inženjerstvo podržano računarom (CAE). Konstruisanje zasnovano na simulaciji i budućnost konstruisanja; Transformacije i manipulacija objektima – Uvod. Osnovne postavke računarske grafike. Geometrijske transformacije; Video prezentacije industrijske primjene CAD/CAM/CAE sistema. Fly Mode, Capture, Video, 3D XML Player... Primjeri; Načini predstavljanja krivih i površina – Uvod. Aproksimacija i interpolacija. Površinsko oblikovanje; Solid modeliranje – Uvod. Tehnike konstruisanja solid modela. Načini oblikovanja (predstavljanja) modela. Primjena solid modeliranja; Parametarsko modeliranje dijelova i sklopova – Uvod. Primjeri. Prednosti primjene parametarskog modeliranja; Tehnike naponske analize konstrukcija – Eksperimentalne metode. Metod konačnih elemenata; Implementacija CAD/CAM/CAE sistema – Uvod. Pogrešna shvatanja o CAD/CAM/CAE sistemima. Nabavka sistema. Faze implementacije sistema; Modul Generative Structural Analysis. Primjer. Moduli Machining. Primjeri;
Znanje: sposobnost identificiranja, formulisanja i rješavanja jednostavnijih problema koji se javljaju pri procesu konstruisanja, uz primjenu računara.
Vještine: sposobnost korištenja savremenih integrisanih CAD/CAM/CAE sistema pri konstruisanju podržanom računarom; razumijevanje savremenih alata za dizajn, sintezu i analizu proizvoda; sposobnost demonstriranja učinkovitog korištenja
savremenih softverskih alata i IT tehnologija.
Kompetencije: demonstrirati sposobnost individualnog i timskog rada, naročito pri izradi projektnog zadatka; komunicirati koristeći jezik primjeren struci.
